The mouth series was originally inspired by the range of complicated emotions we were feeling alone, together, during lockdown. I wanted to acknowledge, honor, and celebrate all the expressions we missed as we navigated how to stay connected, see one another, and be comforted by each other.

As time went on and our ability to reconnect came back into our daily routine, I continued this series as a reminder to never take a smile, grin, or silly expression for granted. I create and release these into the world to honor of the emotions we may hide, long to be seen, and celebrate in each other.

These mouths represent friends, emotions, silliness, and loves in my world.
